The Potting Sheds
20-song retrospective album this Suffolk, England, band. The Potting Sheds were around in the early nineties releasing the "Unsaid" flexi single, the "Second Best" 7" single and the "Goldfish Memory" 12" EP on their own Mad Cat Records. They also appeared on the "Burn it to A Crisp - A Taste of The Norfolk & North Suffolk Indie Scene" compilation. All of their songs on these releases are part of the compilation as well as many demos recorded through the years (including some that were to be released as a mini-album in Japan). The Potting Sheds may be a bit obscure, but after listening their songs you'll fall for them. Brilliant guitars, groovy melodies and elegant horns, The Potting Sheds are a fabulous band from indiepop's heyday who deserve to be rediscovered. And now is the time!
